FULL EXHAUST DESIGN USING THE LATEST DPF TECHNOLOGY FROM A NUMBER OF LEADING DESIGNERS

Eliminate Soot, Discharge, Oily Residue. Minimize Hull & Abrasive Cleaning.

1. Our systems are designed specifically for marine diesel generators and mains engine propulsion systems incorporating  soot filtration systems

2. we design from scratch using 3d geo scanning so we can be mm accurate, and not have to visit the vessel time and time again , we model the engine room and digtally fit the system.

3. we do a one pass visit and produce all our exhausts in house and combosep mufflers along with various styles and  colour for wrap or cladding for the systems.

4. Our  modular design can be used to upgrade your existing system so that it works, as it should.

OPENING UP THE ENGINE ROOM

WE STARTED WITH A BREIF TO FIX THE FAILING EXHAUTS SYSTEM AND ENDDED UP FIXING THE SYSTEM AND GIVING 30% SPACE BACK TO THE BOAT AND REDUCING THE HEAT BUILD UP IN THE ENGINE ROOM .

“LYS exhaust systems can capture  the soot and other particulates in the exhaust flow that would otherwise be discharged into the atmosphere, we make sure that this is captured and delt with using a number of filters from our chosen DPF  partners globally.

Unlike other exhaust company's we use 3d scan technology to produce the systems for you to see before hand and also using clash data we can see if we can fit the system and also design to fit the confines of your engine room .  in the picture opposite you can see we have removed the old system digitally and designed  the new system and installed virtually using all the engine data and getting back pressure correct and water flows of a wet systems required.

All Diesel Engines Produce Soot as a Product of Combustion

Soot particles plus unburned fuel and lubricating oil are trapped by the filter medium and reduced to carbon dioxide and water vapor. Inorganic particulates originating in lubricating oil additives and produced through normal engine wear are retained in the filter and removed by periodic mechanical cleaning.
